Minor surgery

Minor surgery is minor surgical intervention that can be done in the clinic, without the need for admission to hospital. This is normally done under local anesthesia and without the use of advanced equipment. Our doctors can perform simple and minor surgical interventions with low risk, in a safe and sound manner. Larger and more complicated operations must be referred to a specialist. Some examples of the type of minor surgery we perform are:

  • Removal of stitches after small/medium operations
  • Suturing of cuts
  • Wound treatment
  • Removal of foreign bodies in the skin (tiles, pieces of glass, pieces of metal, etc.)
  • Removal of moles
  • Removal of sebaceous cysts
  • Removal of small fat globules (lipomas)
  • Drainage of small boils (abscesses)
